As I sit with rapt attention, eagerly watching Cee-Lo’s wife discuss the contents of Cee-Lo’s fridge, I wonder how it has come to this. Why do I want the elegant lives of the stars rubbed in my face? Why am I fascinated by this? Do I need proof that despite their fame they are human just like me? (Judging by the contents of their fridges, some celebrities are inhuman, drinking only alcoholic beverages and eating only beef jerky.) Why do I feverishly jump at the chance to know every single detail of their stupid famous lives? I guess it’s just the magic of celebrity, the fascination of what one will probably not attain during one’s lifetime.
On a side note, do these people know about poor people?
